After the training the student gets a certificate of completion or a diploma certificate either from cefored or KNEC depending on the course. Certification from other exam bodies may be arranged on request.
Yes for some courses like technical ones that require one to be in class physically means the student be accommodated in our satellite campus located at Nguu Academy, Emali Mombasa rd.
However, accommodation is arranged in hostels around Nairobi city for those wish to stay around Nairobi
Right, both online and distance learning means the student will study on her/ his own but with close supervision by a lecturer or mentor. Online learning will mean that the lecture will train virtually and so internet connectivity and a computer or a smart phone is a requirement for the student.
Open distance learning means the student will be send either soft or hard copies of well researched notes to study from home on his own but may ask for guidance from the relevant tutor.
The advantages with the two as compared to the physical class mode of study is that they are cheaper in terms of cost and time commuting, convenient for you can study at your own free time and finally you can take a shorter time to finish the course depending on your speed.
Most of Cefored courses are done fully online/ distance learning commonly known as correspondence but a few technical courses my call to mix online and physical classes.
